A Jumanji Adventure
Small touches, big impact!
The annual Blue and Gold Banquet is a tradition in Cub Scout packs across the country. They are a celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the BSA in February of 1910. Pack 312 also uses this as their rank award ceremony. Each Youth is awarded the rank they have been working on if they have met all the requirements and the Arrow of Light youth cross over to the troop.
When faced with the challenge of putting on an in-person, socially distanced Blue & Gold Banquet for their Scouts and families, the leadership team of Pack 312 met the challenge head on. They transformed the Family Life Center of Royse City First United Methodist Church into a Jumanji themed wonderland using popup tents to create individual pods for each family.
Cadence Studios provided the final layer of magic to take the visual presentation over the top. We brought it lighting and our smallest public address (PA) system. We used Christmas lights to line the main walkway. We brought it uplights to place around the room to add to the jungle ambiance.
