Kate Winsor Transitions from NAWBO DFW Chapter President to National Leadership Role
Dallas, TX – July 1, 2025 – The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) announced that Kate Winsor, outgoing president of the NAWBO DFW Chapter, has been appointed to the Chapter Leadership Council, where she will work with five of the largest NAWBO chapters across the country to support their growth and ensure their continued success.
During her tenure as president, Winsor led one of the fastest-growing NAWBO chapters in the nation. Under her leadership, NAWBO DFW strengthened its programming, expanded advocacy efforts, and elevated member engagement. She prioritized mentorship, collaboration, and creating opportunities for women business owners to connect, learn, and thrive.
Reflecting on her presidency, Winsor shared: “Serving as president of NAWBO DFW has been one of the greatest honors of my career. Together, we built a stronger, more connected community of women business owners in North Texas. I am deeply grateful to our members, board, and partners who made this possible.”
The Chapter Leadership Council plays a vital role in bridging the needs of local chapters with the national organization, fostering collaboration, and providing direct support to chapter leaders. In this role, Winsor will serve as a mentor and resource, helping chapters navigate growth, governance, and member engagement while ensuring their long-term sustainability.
