For longer than Cadence Studios has been a legal entity, we have been the backbone of the Texas Music Revolution (TMR) festival. This enduring partnership underscores our deep-rooted commitment to producing memorable audience experiences for our clients.
Over the years the festival has seen many homes including parks in Plano, Southfork Ranch, fields in the middle of nowhere, and now Downtown McKinney. Our journey with the KHYI team in putting this event on is a testament to our adaptability, a quality showcased during the COVID-19 pandemic when we helped turn TMR into a ‘socially distanced’ drive-in festival at Southfork Ranch.
In 2021, the TMR festival took a giant leap, moving to the heart of McKinney. With this relocation and expansion of the festival came an elevation of our responsibilities—we assumed responsibility for setting up and running four different stages, including the main stage.

From Stage to Screen: Cadence Studios’ Role in the 25th Anniversary Festival Film
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the festival, a film crew was on-site to capture the event in 2021. The resulting documentary, showcased at film festivals nationwide, goes the behind-the- scenes of the entire process of producing the festival- this includes all the drama of a Texas thunder- storm almost cancelling the Saturday headlining act! Cadence Studios is featured in the film in festival footage, and one of our owners is listed in the credits.
