Lights on the Lake 

In addition to their weekly concert series, the City of Sherman puts on a spectacular Independence Day Celebration called Lights on the Lake. Cadence Studios has been the City’s production partner since the inception of the event.

The production requirements for this event have evolved over the years along with the caliber of talent performing. We tapped into our corporate capabilities and live-streamed the event in 2020 for
those unable to make it in person. We have brought in elaborate light shows, including spotlights on scissor lifts, to put on a show that meets the audience’s expectations. For The Village People show, we had to supply a larger than normal amount of microphones for all the performers. And we have dealt with dangerous weather and keeping our production team safe during high winds and lightning.

Lights on the Lake isn’t just a fireworks display; it’s a tradition, and Cadence Studios is honored to be an integral part of making each celebration a memorable experience for the City of Sherman.
